The wait is over. Australia's newest electric driver's car has arrived. The all-new, all-electric Subaru Uncharted has officially arrived in Australia,
with the first customer vehicles now being delivered and test drives available at Subaru Retailers nationwide.

• Dual-motor electric powertrain producing 252 kW of combined power and a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 5 seconds, with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Dual-Mode X-Mode with Grip Control function, a Multi-Terrain Monitor and 211 mm of ground clearance to provide confidence beyond the sealed surface.

The all-new, all-electric Subaru Uncharted has arrived, and it brings the attitude to Subaru’s three model Sport Electric Vehicle (SEV™) range.

Built to thrill from the moment you press the accelerator, Uncharted unleashes instant electric performance, razor-sharp handling and the confidence only Subaru's renowned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive can deliver.

It begs to be driven, whether it's the daily commute, the scenic route home or the spontaneous detour you simply couldn't resist.

The fun starts with its size. Uncharted is the smallest SEV™ in the line-up, and its size is exactly what makes it nimble and dynamic. A low, battery-in-the-floor centre of gravity, a 5.5 metre turning radius and a responsive front end lets it dart through gaps, turn in sharply and change direction the instant the driver asks. It embodies the playful character that invites spontaneity, urging you to take the twisty road instead of the straight one and say yes to the last-minute detour. It is quick on its feet and as happy carving through a set of backroad bends as it is threading a city street or slotting into a tight car park.

A dual-motor system produces a combined 252 kW and works in harmony with Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive to deliver confident traction, balance and control across a range of conditions — a set-up refined over decades of Subaru all-wheel-drive development and sharpened here by the immediacy of electric performance. A squeeze of the accelerator brings an instant, satisfying surge, with 0 to 100 km/h covered in approximately five seconds¹ and no perceptive lag, yet the same system that delivers the fun keeps the car composed and reassuring when the surface turns to wet asphalt or loose gravel. Steering-wheel paddles let the driver dial regenerative braking through five levels, and at the strongest setting the car can be driven largely on accelerator alone.

Then there is the way it looks, and the Uncharted is a genuine head-turner with real road presence. A fastback-inspired roofline drops toward a sharply raked tail, giving it the crouched, ready stance of something already in motion, while a high-contrast body and tightly drawn surfaces pull visual mass down low over 20-inch alloy wheels pushed out to the corners.

Thin, wide signature lamps sit high across a clean, near-seamless face, with the main beams set lower, a lighting arrangement that reads as sleek with a touch of rugged. Flush rear door handles disappear into the bodywork, keeping the surfaces clean and the whole shape cohesive. It is a design with attitude. What sets it apart is that none of this style comes at the expense of usefulness. The coupe-like roofline still leaves ample room in the back and a generous boot, so Uncharted looks like a car built around a statement and turns out to be built around real life.

Inside, occupants are met with a premium, modern and uncluttered cabin. A clean, horizontal instrument panel gives the Uncharted a sense of spaciousness, and the cockpit is laid out for clear visibility and easy reach, so the technology supports the driver without pulling their attention off the road.

A 14-inch high-definition touchscreen handles navigation, media and vehicle settings, with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ keeping a phone connected without a cable², while a 7-inch driver display keeps key information directly in the sightline and physical buttons are retained for the controls used most. A 10-speaker Harman Kardon® sound system with amplifier and subwoofer, dual wireless Qi chargers³ and four USB-C ports round out the most frequently used technology. Comfort is well covered too, with heated power front seats and driver seat memory, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel and multi-colour ambient lighting standard, and a panoramic glass roof available as an option.

A standard 1,500-watt Vehicle-to-Load outlet turns the battery into a portable power source for a campsite, tools or a weekend away, extending the car's usefulness past the daily drive.

And because it is a Subaru, the fun doesn’t come at the expense of capability. Dual-Mode X-Mode with Grip Control function, a Multi-Terrain Monitor and 211 mm of ground clearance⁶ keep Uncharted composed the moment the tarmac ends, so the same car that made you smile on the city commute is ready for the unsealed track at the weekend. It is a spirited SUV that doesn’t ask the driver to trade away the fun, or the confidence a Subaru is trusted to deliver.

Underpinning all of it is safety, and this is where Uncharted’s intelligence shines brightly; Subaru Safety Sense uses a camera and radar to read the road ahead continuously, interpret what it sees and act, whether that means smoothing the pace on the motorway with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, holding a lane with Lane Tracing Assist or stepping in with the Pre-Collision System when a hazard appears. An Emergency Driving Stop System⁷ can bring the car to a controlled halt if it senses the driver may have become unresponsive. A Driver Monitor System⁸ watches for signs of distraction or drowsiness, while the Vision Assist suite, with a Blind Spot Monitor, a Panoramic 360 Degree View Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Safe Exit Assist, helps build a picture of everything around the car. Supported by eight airbags, it is protection designed to read the situation and respond accordingly.
